1.Chappali Height 2

The shooting of the sequel of the hit movie ‘Chapali Height’, titled ‘Chapali Height 2’ has started in Kathmandu. In an event held in Karyavinayak temple, the movie was inaugurated by the producer, artists and other crew members.The sequel of hit movie ‘Chapali Height’ is being produced by the Arjun Kumar and is being directed by Dipendra K Khanal. The actors however are all new names in Nepali movie industry.

2.Gajalu

This week, on June 10, 2016, one of the most awaited movies, ‘Gajalu’ has released in theater. The movie directed Hemraj BC features Miss Nepal 2012, Shristi Shrestha,Anmol KC, Salon Basnet, Gaurav Pahadi, Menuka Paradhan in leading roles. The movie produced by Rohit Basnet is made on the story of the living goddess ‘Kumari’ tradition in Nepal.

3.How funny

How Funny is a flim by miss Nepal Malvika Subba as she debut as a movie maker with the cast Nisha Adhikari, Keki Adhikari, Priyanka Karki, Dayahang Rai and Anup Bikram Shahi starrer movie ‘How Funny’. The movie to be directed by Nilu Doma Sherpa is also made on her story and concept. The script of the movie is written by Shan Basnet.

4.Junge

The movie directed by Utkal Thapa features the cinematography of Susan Prajapati, script of Subash Koirala and the dialogue of SS Agraj. In the program, the director, Thapa, wasn’t present as he is currently in Australia. In a video message director Utkal Thapa told that the the movie is about the historical figure Junga Bahadur Rana in the present context.

The movie mad on political theme is set to release on Baisakh 17. The movie made a couple of years earlier was delayed because of the earthquake of 2015.

5.Bato muni ko ful 2

The movie made on a love story ‘Bato Muniko Phool 2’ is produced by singer and actor Yash Kumar and is directed by Subarna Thapa. The movie features Yash Kumar, Baboo Bogati, Richa Sharma, Dilip Rayamajhi,Reema Bishowkarma, Arpan Thapa etc. in main roles. The movie made on inter-caste love story is told to be similar to its prequel movie, ‘Bato Muniko Phool’.

6.Ram Pyari

‘Rampyari’ is inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of Bishowkarma Puja made by Rekha Thapa. According to Hindu belief, Bishowkarma is the god of tools. On every Shrawan 1st god Bishowkarma is worshiped and the tools like vehicle, computer, camera etc. are worshiped for them to work properly. Rekha has chosen the day to start the shooting of her movie.

7.Nai na vannu la 4

The record-breaking fourth sequel of ‘Nai Nabhannu La’ franchise, ‘Nai Nabhannu La 4’ was inaugurated officially in a program held on Krishna Asthami in Kathmandu. The inauguration ceremony was held in Maitidevi temple. In the event, Bikash Acharya introduced the new actors in the sequel.

The movie to be made on a triangular love story will be directed by Bikash Acharya. In every sequel Bikash has introduced new artists. So far, all the releases have been very successful.

8.Loot 2

The director of the superhit movie ‘Loot’, Nischal Basnet, has told that he has found the story of the sequel of the movie ‘Loot 2’. It seems every successful movies (and event unsuccessful movies) are being made into sequels.

He told that he has also started the writing of the script of the movie. Talking to Setoparda, Nischal told that the formal announcement of the sequel will be done in near future.Also Nischal told that he is currently busy in the preparation for the marriage. Nischal and Swastima Khadka had recently engaged and going to get married on February 17.
